Sonya has been involved with public and private schools in the Greenwich, CT, and the Westchester - Fairfield County region as well as other organizations (i.e. Girl Scouts, Greenwich Coalition to Combat Underaged Drinking {GCCUD}).

She gives presentations on eating disorders, adolescence and parenting strategies. She has been a volunteer for the Rape and Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Stamford, Ct and The Den for Grieving Children in Greenwich, Ct.
