Sonya has been involved with public and private school systems in Greenwich, CT, and the Westchester / Fairfield County region as well as other organizations. She is a partner with The Father's Forum in Greenwich, a series of monthly meetings during the school year providing information and discussion on various topics of concern to dads. This program is cosponsored by Liberation Programs and Greenwich Family & Youth Options. Additional information can be found at www.fathersforumgreenwich.com.

Sonya gives presentations on all aspects of eating disorders (including athletes), understanding adolescent development and effective parenting strategies throughout the county and has been a volunteer for the Rape and Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Stamford, Ct and The Den for Grieving Children in Greenwich, Ct.
